Verónica Martínez

Veronica Martinez-Ocana is currently a Research Programme Agent at the Ethics Review Sector of ERC Executive Agency. She holds a degree in Biology and a doctorate from the University of Barcelona. Her doctoral and post-doctoral studies focused in the area of toxicological research. She worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Physiology of the University of Barcelona. She joined the ERC Executive Agency in 2012 as a Scientific Officer organising the evaluations of the scientific proposals submitted to the ERC until she joined the Ethics Review Sector in 2014. In the Ethics Review Sector, she is involved in the coordination and execution of the ethics review process of all the proposals that are funded by ERC.
